Unable to Submit Assignment

Motivis Learning utilizes Amazon Web Services to allow students to submit files of any size when submitting assignments. Amazon Web Services requires a user's local system time to be synced with the current time when uploading files. If you receive the "Something went wrong! Please contact your administrator." error message when submitting, it is likely because your local system time is not correctly synced with the current time. To correctly sync your local system time, follow the below instructions based on the platform you are using:

Mac

  1. Navigate to System Preferences.
  2. Click Date & Time.

  3. Click the "lock" icon in the bottom left corner of the page if these settings are locked.

  4. Enter your password.
  5. Check the Set date and time automatically checkbox.

Windows

  1. Click Start.
  2. Click Settings ("gear" icon).

  3. Click Time & Language.
  4. Click Date & Time.
  5. Turn Set time automatically on.

Note: If you continue to experience issues submitting an assignment after syncing your local system time, be sure to check the assignment due date and how many attempts you have left. If you continue to experience issues, please contact your administrator.
