Account Settings

The Account Settings page allows you to change your password, set your email and digest settings, and select your interests. To access this page, click your name in the navigation menu and select the Account Settings link.

By default, the General Settings sub-tab is opened. On this tab, you can change your password. To change your password:

  1. Form the General Settings sub-tab, click the Edit button.
  2. Enter you old password in the Old Password box.
  3. Enter your new password in the New Password box.
  4. Re-enter your new pass in the Verify New Password box.
  5. Click the Save Changes button.


From the Notifications sub-tab, you can choose when to receive notifications by using the On/Off buttons next to each notification type. Clicking the On/Off button next to the 'Email Notifications' setting will turn all settings on or off based upon your selection.


The Digest sub-tab allows you to select how often you receive your community and group digest emails. Select how often you receive your community digest email by selecting a radio button within the Set default frequency for groups I join: section, or you group digest emails by selecting a radio button in each Group section. Options include:

  • Email me on each post
  • Daily Digest
  • Weekly Digest
  • Never


The Interests sub-tab allows you to select your interests and which topics you wish to follow. Doing so will help surface any relevant community content such as groups, events, community resources, and news items. Select your interests by checking the Interests checkboxes within each Interest section. Click the 'X' icon next to any interest within the My Interests section to remove an interest. Any interest you check will display groups, events, community resources, and news items in the Suggested sections of each respective page.
