Setting the Performance Scale

The Motivis LRM platform supports evaluation of competencies, performance indicators (sub-competencies), and assignment criteria via selection of a level on a scale. You will need to create this default performance scale.

When creating this scale, you should:

  • Include at least two performance levels.
  • Provide a text label and numeric value for each level.
  • Determine whether each level is "pivotal" (indicating mastery).

If you have not yet determined the number of levels and their textual labels for your performance scale, we recommend the following:

  • Not Evident
  • Emerging
  • Proficient*
  • Distinguished*

*Pivotal levels indicating mastery
