What is the Motivis Learning Community?

When you log in, you will land on Motivis Learning Community, the social community component of the LRM that connects users. Community is an important part of a competency-based program and, as such, is a priority within this Learning Management System.

The Motivis Learning Community is a place for you to interact with your peers and keep up-to-date on the latest stories and events at your institution. You can also discover interesting content and find relevant resources to help you navigate your institution. 

Motivis Learning Community is a free, basic configuration of the out-of-the-box SalesForce Customer Community product and is intended to help higher education institutions by customizing the product specifically for the higher education industry. This out-of-the-box configuration cuts both the time and cost associated with implementing Communities in a higher education setting.

As an Instructor or Curriculum Designer, from Motivis Learning Community you can:

  • Participate in Groups
  • Manage Events
  • Share Updates
  • Post News
  • Share Resources

As a Student, from Motivis Learning Community you can:

  • Post updates to your personal feed
  • Manage and join groups
  • Create and follow events
  • Access helpful resources
  • Access your LRM
